Historic and quaint, Capitola and Capitola Village are packed with unique restaurants and shops. Visit the Capitola Museum, the beach or Gayle's Bakery where locals are always on vacation ! Build a sand castle or be serenaded by the Ukulele Club Sunday mornings on the esplanade.
Santa Cruz offers the stimulus of the University of California plus the laid back buzz of a surf town. Mountain bike or hike in the hills near Wilder Ranch by Highway 1, or picnic and stroll near West Cliff after riding the Big Dipper at the famed Boardwalk. Downtown has eclectic shops and eateries plus top entertainment venues. Visit Kuumbwa for music or the Rio Theatre for hot films and dance revues.
Aptos is known for its village atmosphere and eclectic antique shops. Here you can enjoy a large lot in fertile gentle hills, or a seaside abode. Cozy coffee shops, Seascape ocean view resort with golf & tennis, long stretches of beaches await you. Rio del Mar is the south end of Aptos.
